Good day,

I need some help finding out where I can buy this song online or get hold of this song. The song title is 京小町音頭 based on what I found out from a forum member here. My students are doing a japanese fan dance for their end of year concert. I have attached the link to the song below.

Snip of 京小町音頭 (Just 20sec)

I am trying to find the whole song.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Arev JR

Whats your favourite J-bands - 10-12-2010, 12:23 AM

I'd have to say my top 10 would probally be

Straightener
Asian Kung Fu Generation
F-act
KELUN
Base Ball Bear
Mouse On The Keys
Boom Boom Satellites
Supercar
Radwimps
Mad Capsule Market

X-Japan gets an honourable mention considering I still love them and they are the band that originally got me into japanese music ^___^

A friend of mine got me into the Polysics. I'm an old Devo fan so they amuse me.

He also tried to get me into Hello Project. I kinda had to draw the line there. The music is catchy and the girls are C-UTE but watching a hundred thousand 40 year old wota dancing IN PERFECT SYNCH with the girls I had to go hide.

Some things are just too creepy- even for me...

Boom Boom Satellites are pretty good, though I haven't heard that much more than whats on the Appleseed soundtrack.

In animation, I'll have to go with Yoko Kanno- she's just so damned versatile.
