I hope there isn't another thread like this, I checked but you know it is here. I really would like to know how to say hi in many languages so at least we can greet each other when we visit another country. So I'll start.

Spanish: HOLA

Vietnamese : Chào bạn

It's been a while since I went over it.
My mother tried teaching me vietnamese a few years ago.

arabi :

1- asalam alaykum , as a replay u say = alaykum asalam
2- ahlan wa sahlan , as a replay u say = ahleen
3- hala , as a replay u say = ahleen
4- marhaba , as a replay u say = marhabteen

In Lakota/Lakhota(Native American->Sioux)
the man would say,
"Hau"(it also means 'yes')
the woman would say,
"Han"(it also means 'yes') but women usually
don't use this to start a conversation.
