Not sure, but those aspiring to study in Japan could always try this...

BCA in Sapporo, Japan - BCA | Study Abroad

You study in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan at Hokusei Gakuen University, but I think it's more of an exchange program from your home university to there for like a semester or something like that and you stay with a host family. I haven't gotten around to reading through it thoroughly yet. I know I came across that before, but I forgot what was there.

It's surprisingly easier as a foreigner to enter Toudai. I was looking into it for foreign exchange where I found a whole different program for enrolling foreign students.
