Don't do it in front of other people unless you want to put her in the most uncomfortable position in her life. Especially if they know she has a boyfriend. You are guaranteeing a "no".

The time will come. let us know how it goes.

The more I read this thread, the more it's sounding like courting a fellow female office worker is akin to soloing a dungeon.

It ain't.

i did it. now what?

guys. i popped the question.

let me live again what happened back there in the pantry..

she went to the pantry to make a juice. i followed there holding my own mug, as if ill make juice as well.
then i struck a conversation with her. started with a question
"are you going straight home today..?".
she answered yes, so i told her that im thinking of going shopping for presents for my return to philippines,
and have yet to do so. Then immidiately even before i get the chance to ask her out, she began to enumerate stuff,
like necklace, mugs, etc. all the while smiling prettily. couldnt help but sneak a stare or 2 at her from time to time as
she tries to think of whats a good omiyage( present) to buy.
really cute.
then i told her that im thinking of buying japanese clothes (hence the point that i need her to come with me)
but i dont know which is good. then she again does her cute expression of hers, while thinking, then realized that
theres nothing to buy except fuyu (winter) clothes this season, and all of those cant be used in the philippines since
philippines is a very hot country, even in this time. (DAMN)
so i was running out of options, then she continues enumerating possible candidates for a good present. she even told me
a good shop that sells good accessories.
then i acted as if i dont know where that shop is.. and asked her if she can come with me. as im ashamed to go to a womans accessory store,
being that im a guy.
then she does her cute expression again, thinking, then said "kyou ikitai desu kedo..." (id like to come today but..)
then i asked if she has plans. she said she have to go home early cause lots of household works, hence the reason why shes going home early today.

then we were stuck in the pantry, all the while she thinking of good presents to buy for a girl, and me staring at her with a little bit of a sad / disappointed look.
but there were times wherein we both laugh, cant help but laugh when she makes me laugh.

then we ended the long conversation wth her saying "ill think more about it", not knowing if she means the presents or
her coming with me.

as the conversation ended, i rushed out of the room to get a good fresh air, inhale, and absorb what just happened.
i was taking a little break, pretending that im texting someone while standing in the hallway.
then she comes with a little office task, went down to 1st floor.
when she came back, she asked me if japanese paper fans are good presents. she was still thinking of what presents to buy , so
i guess thats what she meant a while ago when she said "ill think bout it more".
then, taking the opportunity (we were alone in the hallway) i asked her again if she know where i can buy a
"dolce and gabanna" perfume for my mom, showing her the text message from my mom. then she thinks for a while and said that it may be hard to find that here, in this small town.
she suddenly asked me if i am going home early today, AND tomorrow. i said i can go home early today AND tomorrow, but the truth is it might be hard to go home early tomorrow. i just
said that just in case.

before heading back, i asked her if she would be able to come if its tomorrow.
then she was muttering .. "kyou ka, ashita ka..." to herself, before we opened the door.
so i want to assume that shes thinking if she will go today or tomorrow, but i dont know that since we both entered the office then.
i guess ill find out later, if she really is considering going with me, today or tomorrow.

sorry for the long post.
i felt i have to tell u guys for u to picture the scenario, in order to give me a better opinion of what just happened.

so now i ask..

what does this mean?

Remember when I said if she says "yes" that's a clear sign and if she says "no" that's a clear sign.

You didn't get a yes or a no.

Not just Japanese, women in general. Although it would seem that Japanese women are the equivalent of 'Expert' minesweeper, I always end up putting a flag on every square.

You know her better than me. Sounds like it's time for a beer.
