Thank you very much for your reply.

I like the sentence you wrote but is it more casual than previous one?
I think both of them are grammtically correct.

I know it made you confused because I wrote just one sentence.
But if I wrote whole content it should be too long and I don't want to bother you...:(

Anyway I appreciate your help.:)

Thank you!

When you say previous one, do you mean In addition we will help you studying abroad in Japan if you like.?

This sentence has one mistake. You can say "study abroad" but not "studying abroad" in this form.

Even fixing that mistake, it is a little clunky, as you start with "In addition" and end with "as you like". It is hard to explain why, but it doesn't flow smoothly.

The difference in "casual" and "formal" is much more gray in English compared to Japanese. For example, the sentence I sent you would be fine to use on a website.

Thank you very much for your advice.:)
So, my original sentence is grammertically wrong isn't it?
We can't use help+~ing?

By the way it's interesting you expressed useing "gray".
Recently I've heard people use "gray" in japanese too, like「限りなく黒に近いグレー」.
But I didn't know there is same expression in English too.

Anyway thank you again for your big help!:)

A better way to say it would be :

In addition, we will help you study in Japan if you prefer.

So much bickering, so little help:P

Sakusakusakura San, it could be one of several things,

"In addition, we will help you study abroad in Japan if you like."

"In addition, we will help you study abroad in Japan, if you would like"

Possibly,

"If you like, we can help you study abroad in Japan."

Hope this helps :vsign:

I need you to check my English, please.

日本語:さらに、もしよければ日本留学のお手伝いもし ますよ。
English: In addition we will help you studying abroad in Japan if you like.

Thank you,

Lol, this sentence is weird, so yeah, the correct translation would be:
In addition, we can help you study abroad in Japan if you'd like.

こんちは。
私も同様に間違ってました。

辞書で調べてみたら、

help someone (to) do が正しく、 help someone doing というのはないみたいです。
不定詞のto do と 動詞の原形のdo の選択については、米語では動詞の原形を用いることが 多く、イギリス英語も最近はそれに追従する形になって きている、とのこと。

ing については、can't help --ing, cannot help ---ing の場合に 現在分詞(--ing)を用いるとのことでした (三省堂 デュアルディクショナリーより。)

私はこの二つがごっちゃになっていました。
おかげ様で勉強になりました。 :) どうもです 。
