Because they don't know any better...my point made again, only in reverse. Extreme patriots often have never spent much or any time outside of their country.

Yes. Once we see America, we all want to be like that.

No, just tired of seeing all the illegals getting Social Security and food stamps.

I am proud to be an american. I know that we arent the most popular country but we still have many freedoms that some only dream about and i will never take that for granted. One thing we can do that sets us apart is we are allowed to criticise our own government without fear of retaliation.

LOL. I'd say North Korea was the most free country.

You have no retaliation from your government, yes, but you also have no impact on it.

In North Korea, the government is whoever choses to take power. That is freedom.

And yes, you're right, your country is not very popular.

What do you mean sets you apart? France for example walks all over you on criticising their government..!

I wasn't saying that we did anything that big. I was just saying that i am still proud to be from america and i see no shame in it.

If I was american, I'd be proud as well... I was just pointing out the little "sets us apart".

My bad when I said it I didn't mean it like this is the only country where you can do that just that it is one were you have that freedom.
