oh yeah! the guy on TV also says it can cause another explosion if they pour sea water in wrong way.

and now I realized that my neighborhood is getting more silent than ever. is this symptom of something bad?

Contacting foreign residents is normal procedure - but encouraging them to leave the country (even in areas unaffected) is definitely not.

For a country which is used to earthquakes yes, it seems strange to do that, but for others, even the shaking of a table with your knee scares the cr.. out of them.
