I wasn't bickering, so I don't know what you're talking about there....

Second, politically I'm very liberal, so Fox new is bloody bollocks

The "you" in that statement was meant as an impersonal you. I guess I should have said "one" instead of you, sorry :P . But seriously: say it out loud and tell me that it sounds cool or smart.

"Politically very liberal".... Hmm, so you want National Healthcare, which will ultimately lead to a degradation of the quality of healthcare, want to increase benefits for people on Welfare even though they're one of the biggest drains on the national budget, downsize our military so that the rest of the world can shit all over us, centralize control of many utilities (water, electric) in spite of the common result of inefficiency and break-down, tax gasoline even more in an effort to stem global warming................

Okay then :vsign:

Personally I like BBC news

I don't watch BBC. Actually, I don't watch any news. My dad watches Fox, though, so when I'm down there I get to listen to O'Rielly and company. Anywayz... I'm just wondering how you can watch for a few minutes and make such a firm judgement. Kinda like making assumptions about a person by the way they said "Hello" to you, I think.

That was "Neutral to all European conflicts". The Monroe Doctrine, to be specific, essentially stated that the Europeans should stay the fuck out of the Americas, and the the US would stay the fuck out of Europe. "The Americas" includes Central and South America.

If I left that ambiguous before, I apologize.

More like they got their asses kicked...by peasants with without as much technology

Again, the whole deal was the president thinking that he needed to restore our reputation for being able to contain communism. At the time, all the Western powers were after that goal. We didn't go into Vietnam just for the hell of it, just to show that we can kick around anyone we want. In the president's thinking, a victory in Vietnam would have shown that we were capable of fighting communism.

hmm....

Again, I wasn't bickering. I might be a little sarcastic, sure.... (that's just how I am :P ) But whatever. If you think you can't hold a decent debate without it degrading into bitching, then don't reply. But next time you make assertions like you did when we first started this discussion, do back them up a little more :vsign: .

what about ir-weaponry?

not only that, but the US forces first used the bolt-117 bomb 40 years ago... are you saying their technology has gone backwards since then?

It is not hard to join the Infantry, just a little hard to want to. Ask me anything on basic Infantry tactics then, or gun or rifle operation, and I will tell you things only a Soldier would know. But why do you ask that anyway?

Well when I was being harassed in the JF god thread a few people said you really weren't in the military and that you lied about being kicked out and everything. I didn't know what I should think about it so thats why I'm asking you now, I don't have anything against you Tenchu I just wanted to know from you.

We haven't gone back but we deffenently haven't gone forward as much as we could instead of still testing out new nukes and not useing them yet even though we are in war right now.

Hyakushi 03-19-2008 03:37 PM

I also recently heard purrsia is getting interested in the war as well, is this true?. If so then were screwed =/.

dannavy85 03-19-2008 05:12 PM

How do you work that out? Don't the yanks have bases in South Korea?

We do but they don't have the sufficient power capable of dealing with a desperate North Korean invasion. Unlike the 1950 event, any invasion by the North this time would be a do or die suicide assault given the dire straits the country is in.

Japan holds most of America's air and naval power in the Western Pacific, bases for supply and material support and the airfields required should we lose Kimpo, Osan and Kunsan in a PDK Blitzkreig.

The tactic is simple, to trade land for time, draw the DPK south into the central highlands of South Korea then cut their supply lines and slaughter them.

Until we can finally effect the stablization of the Korean Penninsula or the collapse and end of the North Korean state, Japan will remain vital to the strategic defense of the North Pacific.

Yeah benefit the people, fuck the military, fight global warming, ect...
So fuck you....bloody conservative....
Look you're far right and I'm far left so this debate is pointless since you and I have compleat opposite views...

I watched a few minutes a few times, and what they say dives me nuts!!!
Thats bullshit; your assuming how I developed my opinion
I saw their point of view, which I highly disagree with, so I have a firm opinion, which I'm entitled to. Fox news has always had a reputation for being far right, and I'm a hardcore leftist

I know that the reason was to fight communism, I said that earlier...
I was just saying that was their whole attitude...

You really have nothing better to do with your life if your just gonna continue to talk on and on about totally opposite views :p
And during the beginning of this you asked what my thinking was so I gave you my honest opinion, and you gave yours...
So I'm just gonna bail out of this unless someone else has something different to say...

By the way about 9/11...
