Udon VS. Ramen
 

Which do you like better? There isn't much difference, but hey, I just want to see which you like better.

If you haven't tried both....then try the other sometime.

And I do not mean FAKE RAMEN. >_<

Udon hands down for me. I even learned to make my own from scratch...though I forgot it now :rolleyes:

Ramen, by far. A lot more flavor IMO. Especially a good Hakata-style ramen.

Ramen, of those two choices - even the "fake" ramen.
Its my office lunch at 90% of the time. Usually kimchi ramen, but sometimes I switch it out with other flavors. Its my daily sodium overdose.

But my real preference is soba.
And almost every Saturday night its glass noodles (usually in gimmari).

my gf would kill me if i ate it everyday for lunch :D

I don't recommend it that often. But it stores in my desk well and with only a 30 minute lunch, that works well.

There is nothing like a good bowl of Kansai style beef udon. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuum!

Udon in Japan is amazing, much more flavor than anything I've had here. I love Raman aswell, but its all from a package, so I have nothing to compare it to yet. So I go with neutral at the moment.

soba = <3 lol

Ramen, especially when it's prepared fresh (in other words, not from the package). I like Ramen noodles way more than Udon, although, I like Soba over both.

Ramen:D it's by far my favourite:)

Soba is also good.

I like them both, but at a push to choose just one, I'd go for Udon :)

I've only tried Udon...so sometime I'll go out and try some Ramen and then I can make a decision about which one I like best :p

Ramen is yummy every now and again, but you just can't beat a nice big bowl of tasty Udon to make you feel pleasantly full each time :D

I don't remember ever eating Udon (probably not) But so far I love Ramen especially the big bowl I had when I was in Boston:rheart:

Must try some Udon (puts on list of things to do/try)

i liked eat udon.so if i go to japanese restaurant, i would ordered udon....udon so delicious........:phgirl:

Like..udon is nice,, i mean REAL nice but in my opinion it just can't top ramen ^^ Luvvit too much!!

i love it when my boss makes us ramen
he always uses the fresh ramen and in a shoyu broth
w/ some cuts of roast pork, and other goodies i can't remember xDD

I buy noodles from a Japanese online store. I love ramen but I like udon too. Although I eat ramen a lot more. I like also soba and somen.

Isn't much difference? Whoops...

I never tried udon, so I'd rather stick with ramen.

Udon is nice...I like the thick noodles. But, hands down to ramen for being full of flavor and delicious goodies. It's making me hungry.

I'm going to try Ramen today for the first time.
0_0 I feel so inexperienced... I've never had Udon either.
