If I remember correctly, Yamada had a leg problem only after the first couple of obstacles and failed at the warped wall. It's in the Wiki. This is the 21st Competition.

Didn't think to check Wiki. ^^;; Thanks. I also didn't know that Akiyama retired; I guess his eyesight has finally gotten too bad to compete. Still would've been nice to see him just hanging out and rooting his fellow All Stars on.

It's weird that it's not being shown like it used to. Kinda sucks, but I guess they figured once or twice was enough. *Shrugs*

I got my half-sibligns hooked on Ninja Warrior. My favorite Ninja Warrior competitor was Takeda and my other fav is the cab driver, Nagano. My half-siblings loves Yamamoto.
