Is there a remake for Final Fantasy 7 -

I have heard rumors that square enix was going to make a remake to FF7 and then i heard some that there are not going to. Does anyone know if they are going to.

No Square has said several times that they do not have the available man power to take on the project as they are all tied up in other projects. That MAYBE it will be considered once they are free. So so. It's still up in the air, Enix wants the orignal creators to work on it and need to wait for their scheduals to clear up. Hopefully in the near future we'll get a remake. After all they seem to be remaking all the others.

Remake of FF7?
You gotta be kidding me.. Thats impossible  The whole story of FF7 is in parts. For example Dirge of Cerberus Crisis Core.. They're all part of FF7 . only the orginal game Final Fantasy 7 is only on ps1.. I think i have that game somewhere XD
