and well when i finished the drawing i needed the background,
and i haven't been to the graveyard here in Mexico yet and i imagined it and i just well....drew.xD

Haha lol and normally you visit graveyards often? :D It looks cool though, if there was a spooky graveyard (including bats and optional vampires) I'd picnic there every night :p

Hello hello~

I'm drawing a girl, and something is wrong with her face. Her eyes look strange, and her mouth is off. I changed the eyes a few times, but I can't get it right.

Some advice would be great. Thanks :)

Here's an awesome lesson on eyes:

this guy really understands how to draw in 3D.

as for the mouth, look at the angle, it's off. remember that tip I gave you a long time ago about drawing the cross on the face? try it out, and you'll see.

The right eye is slanted weird compared to the one on the left. It'd probably look better if you turned it counterclockwise a bit.

Also, the nose is really big, which throws off. The longer line outlining it makes it look as if it should be passing infront of the left eye, which it doesn't. I suggest moving both lines outlining it closer to the center of the face. The make-up on the corners of the eyes also extent onto where the nose should be, so you might want to touch up on that.

The mouth should be slanted down more as well instead of up.

Just my advice, hope that helps.

Miss Misa, its probably me, but the eye on the left side looks kind of high up. Usually what helps is if you flip the image in the opposite direction, you can catch errors easy Also the eye on the left side is going over the nose, maybe make the nose smaller so and lift it up along with the mouth

From it, this is what I have changed. I just restarted the whole face - I didn't want a cut and paste rubbed out crappy version, so I started again. This is something I really ever do, due to pure laziness, but I'm trying to cut bad habits.

Nice art. I tend to draw on oekaki boards a lot, or at least I used to. I'd post some but it's nothing you haven't seen.

I finished these not too long ago, i was gonna put them into a book for Lulu.com but they're not ready yet.

Wow everyone's art is so awesome. if i can find out how to work a scanner i'll add some of mine including muscle cars :vsign:

Did this for a friend on Youtube, took me like 20 mins, so it is with rough lines.
I drew it with fineliner first, then just used a paint bucket and the text in Photoshop, no other edits because I really hate Photoshop.
I will post some pencil drawings I have done, if anyone wants to see...?

Interesting... I'm not quite sure what it is, Kind of reminds me of Tesuo's transformation

Here is a partial draft I was never truly happy with (it was originally full body), so I trimmed it and put a simple gradient for a background and left it at that.


I've tried to self publish, and between the fact I just can't stay on task and that my art style seems to float between western and eastern (I hear grief from manga and US comic book purists) so I've gotten away from artwork recently.
