I did the same thing early this year. Although it didnt work due to conlicts in our schedules it was still worth taking the chance...I just hope it turns out well for me next year when i meet a certain someone next year...

the funniest is when you hear people say "oh yeah i have a girlfriend, she lives in (name of any country appart from the one your speaking within) and i think she really loves me!"

Yes long distance relationships are dodgy especially if you have never met the person. I only had one once and it lasted two weeks. Maybe for some people they work but not for others.

For me its not like its impossible cuz i have a lot of example around me but i tried once, it was with my high school GF just before my 1th year in university we made a long distance relation and it was...weird because its like you start a new life, your alone you have more time for your friends, you meet new people...for me my GF became more like a friends and that the way we broke up..So if u try that you need MOTIVATION and LOVE

I'd have to say I agree with Spaz on this one. Maybe if it's short term, and they're engaged or something. But it's not a good fit for my life style.

Lol. Yeah, and 95% of the time that guy is getting cheated on.

It's my firm belief that most (maybe not all) long distance relationships are for the very needy.
