In the shadows beneath the trees he waits.
In the darkness under the moon he plots
In the silence of the night he kills.

Careful! A skinny guy like you doesn't need a hurricane to get blown away.
Anyways take care! I hope all remains well with you.

We need to hear from our friends in the path of Ike. - 09-14-2008, 03:00 AM

It gets a little worrisome when I haven't heard from our Texas friends. Has anyone heard anything? I know it's hard to sign one when your home is underwater.

Could be a while before we hear from everyone. There are a estimated 4.5 million households without electricity right now. They say it may be several weeks before it get restored for everyone.

So...
My house was.. ruined.
Most of our shit is just a pile of rubble.

Three giant oak trees smashed it completely.
My room got the most damage, of course.

We got the trees off and most of the bad stuff out of the left over house and to the side for the adjuster to see.

Right now I'm in a hotel.
Going to be here awhileeeee.

Woah Eve that sucks for you, I'm sorry. The Government's paying for your stay at the hotel, yeah? Hope you all can go back home soon.

Yes the federal government( fema) should be helping us.
Our insurance company also said they would reimburse us for the hotel and the damage anddd to replace our stuff.
The adjuster said he'd be there in a few days as did the contractor.
Fema has yet to get back to us because our annual income is high so we're on the bottom of their list.
We're not counting on fema at all.
