Alriiighty.

My interest in Asia

My interest in japan stems from a reaaly young age, The only cartoons i used to watch were anime such as sailormoon, dbz, doraemon, which were dubbed over. Also my parents were really open people and took us to eat sushi and made sushi regularly. My parents love japanese food, and hence their interest in japan goes through to me as well. I got into dorama since i was 13 so it fuelled my interest more

My interest in China is because I am chinese. It's my culture and where my heritage is. Also because the history is so deep, I was forced to go chinese school, and i would be lying to say i didnt hate it at one point, But i totally learned a few things.

My interest in Korea, is the food. Korean BBq is delicious, also because i went to travel around seoul this year on holiday. Its not the greatest place, but shopping is A-mazing. The historical sites of both Chosun and Modern North VS south kinda appeals to a history student too. (y)

My interest

I've been interested in Japan ever since I was a kid, probably because I became a Pokemon fan, then played Japanese video games. But I also learned more about the language, food and culture, and I have never given up my interest in Japan ever since. I went to Japan last year and stayed with a family in Yokohama- it was fantastic! The only other countries in Asia I've visited so far are Singapore and Hong Kong (two of the so-called "Asian Tigers", huge bustling cities with amazing views and top-class cuisine). It is highly possible I could go to Iran next year, apparently it has a long history of civilisation, with excellent food and impressive infrastructure.
I want to go to China, Korea, the Phillipines and Taiwan some day.
