Heavy metal, J-rock, J-pop, hard rock, trance, techno, old school rock, 80's music.

As for artist, that one's a toughy. I like HIM first and foremost, followed up by Muse, Megumi Hayashibara, GreenDay, blink-182, SMILE, Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo, Evanescence/Amy Lee, Avril Lavigne, Santana, AnCafe, HyDE, and some others that fail to come to my mind at the moment.
