Once on a flight to Salt Lake City when I was only about 7 or 8 something happened to the plane and it nose dived down. Luckily the pilot regained control and we landed safely. Pretty scary I just remember reading my book to distract myself from what was happening.

I almost died when I was about 8 years old. I don't remember exactly what happened, but the only memory I have of that time was being underwater (not being able to swim) in the deep end of a pool and looking up at the water's surface from below. The image of the sun brightly glistening on the surface of the water has been burned into my memory ever since then. Whenever I remember "the time I almost died," that's the only thing that comes to me. Kind of strange the way things like that stay with you for the rest of your life. Anyway, that's my story.
Oh yeah, I think one of my friend's parents pulled me out, but I'm not sure. I don't think I ever told my parents about it either...very evil of me.

I'm glad you're okay KyoKitty. That's really scary.

But I know what you're talking about. I almost drowned once and it scared me and straightened out a lot of things for me and made me appreciate being alive even more.

Yeah I have..

Was up some ladders doing some re-wiring in the kitchen and forgot to turn the elecricity off (yeah.. i know..) and cut a cable with some scissors, next thing i knew, I was lying on the floor at the opposite side of the room.

Apparently the shock blew me off the ladders and in to the wall opposite. It took a chunk out of the metal blades in the scissors and the bang was so loud that it literally scared my budgie to death.. Poor Bluebird...

I'm good now though

funny story my dad was supposed to be watching me. i think i was no older than 1 year. i was crawling around wen i went up to the stairs and fell face first at the bottom. My mother said i almost died but wwho nose i had a minor concussion at the age of 1 can u believe that

i think it affected my brain in some way :P case im the class brainiac
