This probably doesn't just apply to Australia but I feel the transitions between grades can be either too great (Y11>>>>Y10) or not great enough (Y8 ~ Y9 ~ Y10). I also found that high school didn't at all prepare me for university (I think the teachers need to gradually lessen the spoonfeeding in the senior years)

South Korean public education: worse than the People's Republic of China from what I saw. Tons of young students are lost because it still retained the 1960s style of education system, which was based on pre-1945 colonial education.

It's better to be home-schooled in South Korea than becoming a part of the useless education system. Juku must be abolished since they don't care about the students in the first place.

The greatest hope is that tons of South Korean students are studying abroad... esp. place like Canada.

Canadian public education: very good.

American public education: depends on the region.
