The body suit tattoo sounds like an ace idea. Don't know how it'd look on a white boy, then again I haven't seen anyone try! Just don't expect to go in an onsen ever again I don't have much experience with that area of expertise, but if I were doing a tattoo of that caliber, I would be offended if someone else finished it.

It's like "Yo, da Vinci, we need you to sketch this killer ceiling painting, but Michelangelo's gonna fill in the color"

And I may be thinking of WWOOF, but I think there's an exclusively Japanese farm work thingy. Don't quote me

A body suit like you describe done by a "traditional artists" takes months or years to complete. No tattoo artist is going to or can do a full body suit in 2 weeks. Your body can't take it.

I agree with MMM too, would toxify the body would be my guess...
Also, would a tat play a role in getting into the JET program, or is it like in America (if you can't see it, it's ok)?

If they can't see it, how would they know you have one?

Your school would not be happy to find out you had tattoos, so better keep quiet about them.

Thanks for all your replys

Yeah i did know that a half body suit would be only a dream without living in japan for years. I have emailed an artist but have jet to get a reply. I'm aiming to get at least one shoulder done. A backpeice if possible but i think that will still need too much time.

I have emailed in english, the site said they have a english speaker but i would like the ablity to email somone else in japanese... how would this be possible?

Im not in school, im 23 planning a visit alone to Japan... i really do have alot of planning to do. Anyone else got anymore surrgestions for volunteer company's to work with?

Thanks again.

I'm wanting to get a tattoo that says: cherish life
but i'd like it in japanese symbols. So, how do you write cherish life in japanese?

Why shouldn't I do it?
So what does this mean:

生命を大事にしなさい
