雨 Rain... Yu in Chinese. But in Kanji, I'm not too sure!! Maybe Ame? Someone correct me!

山 Mountain... Among the very first Chinese Chars I learnt! I could just imagine Mountains seeing thing char... Shan in Chinese... Japanese, I don't know!!

I'm really new to Japanese..so kanji is proving rather difficult for me,even though I take Mandarin as a second language..some Chinese characters don't always mean the same thing as some Japanese kanji characters..

Like..青い（blue in Japanese),but 青 in Mandarin actually means GREEN.
Lol.

寒い（さむい） = Cold

It's very cold in Tokyo today.

It means "bright"

No clue about the reading, haven't gotten to those yet
