translator help - 08-12-2009, 03:14 PM

Hi everyone my name is mike and I live in usa

I just wanted to know if someone has time to help me with some japanese and english translating.

I bought some books from someone on ebay and he only speaks japanese.
So I wanted to know if anyone has the time to help me talk to him.
Thank you and I hope someone can help me.

i would like to ask him if he can send me some more photos of the condition of the books and if he can let me know if he has shipped them yet

Not of Japanese...and for a business dealing like this I think a native speaker would be better.

I do Japanese to English, but avoid English to Japanese when I can.

I asked a Japanese friend who appear to know English well (better than me, since I can't find her mistakes). I can't be sure though, because I can't really understand the sentences above. ^^

You are saying a Japanese person wrote these sentences?

I think it is safe to bet that Mikey is not in Japan, so the second sentence would n't work.

Also if you want to see the condition of some books, a 写メ (cell phone picture message) will certainly not be enough. Might wanna change it to 写真.

Yeah. I believe that a Japanese person wrote the sentences. I can't really testify her origin though. ^^

Can we just delete the "From Japan" part? (If I understand it correctly)
