I trust Hollywood's power. I'm not going to judge the film until i see it. Goku being white in this film is a bit awkward, but with the fact that Goku is not really an asian, i think it makes sense.

When I saw the poster I was like WTF, Seriously I was a huge fan of the anime but this is going wrong. Honestly, I can recognize Goku but who are those other people. The story should be really great if they want to impress me.

Honestly, my expectations for it are not high. Hopefully it'll turn out well, but right off the bat, the general casting decisions have made me wary. I mean, James Marsters is obviously fantastic and I generally like Chow Yun Fat, but as far as the rest of them go...eeeeeeeeeeh. I don't know. The kid they found to play Goku is a bit on the skinny side and what not, but I don't know if he can act. I think the aesthetics comes in second to the acting ability, of course, so I suppose I'll reserve judgment on him until I see the film. Seriously, though, isn't the girl they got for Chi-Chi one of those little Real World skanks? Come on.

Apart from that, I'm not sure how well it's going to translate to live action or how well these people are going to embody the characters that we all know so well.

On the upside, at least Emmy Rossum can't ruin this movie with her awful singing voice.

Perhaps the fourth girl is the movie exclusive character. It's not really bad to add a new character isnt it?

And for the lead actor Justins Chatwin, i think he'd proven enough. He co starred with Tom Cruise in War of Worlds and was the lead star of the movie The Invincible. This starts with a young adult Goku so him being not muscular in this film is no big deal. But maybe it will be a big deal if there will be a Part 2 and 3.

Here's a new pic of "Goku" off of the official site... I think it shattered my hopes and dreams. Plus, isn't Hercule the only American in DBZ? Shouldn't there be an all japanese cast? Also, the hair...
