Official: Dragonball The movie

So anyone heard of this? I love DB/DBZ and really HOPE they don't mess it up.
Apparently it has a big budget too so no problems there.
I just don't like the fact that goku is a white guy >.> He should be Azn!

XD i heard of it o.O, my bro called about it once that they are making of DBZ a movie ;o, though if i hope goku is going to be a asian person o.O.. Imagine a french guy whose trying to do goku his voice in japanese(this wasn't a discrimination by the way o.O)...

But that's exactly my point. I guess things can't be perfect though.

ps. the movie is an American production so I dunno why it was moved to the Japanese Movies section

I actually think the choice for Goku is great. Justin Chatwin actually does look a bit like Goku, he has defining jaw line. Similar to Goku and ALL dbz chars. But I don't understand why you guys want someone asian? DBZ chars don't look asian

What I want to see is how they are going to re-enact these intense fighting scenes where every punch/kick is a series of dashed lines.

Should be interesting.

That's what my friend said. Then again which Anime characters actually look Japanese or Asian unless the Manga-ka goes out and tries to make them look it. It's well known that they are meant to be and if they aren't, it is made known.
Goku's eating habits and the way he has been brought up clearly define him as Asian.

lol, Of course he has asian habbits. DBZ is based on an old chinese folks tale. But I'm talking about looks and I think the choice is perfect. It really does suit him.

Yeah I was kind of surprised it would be an American film and that it would be live action. Should be pretty interesting...
