I've been in kendo for three years. I had to quit awhile ago due to work and school-related stuff, but I'm hoping to get back into it.

Yeah, I live my life by Bushido, so I practice some Kendo for fun. But my main tools are a pair of 26cm Bowie knives. I do Kung Fu, Wing Chun teches the best knife fighting skills ever! Knives are easier to cart than swords these days too... Anyway, not much into Aikido. I think it would be worth knowing. There are few styles of fighting where it has nothing good to learn, yet I am not really into their ideas, I think it leaves you too open constantly, and against an experienced fighter you are more likely to get struck than in the forms I do. However, go with it, dont ever stop fighting, but dont ever stop wanting to learn. Learn all styles, then you will be prepared...

May the Demon find you...

I was doing aikido for a year or so, until i moved on to tae kwon do and other arts...

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup. France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon.' Need I say more?

I'll beat anyone who challenges me, I'll beat anyone who thinks they are better.

Funny you should say that... aikido is one of the most defense-orientated martial arts there is. There is very little in the way of direct offensive 'maneuvers' in aikido.

Yeah, I was just going to say....HUH?

Anyways, I started Aikido about a two months ago. I wish I had a local Kendo or Kenjutsu Dojo, I would be there every available second!

Now wheres that portal to Seiren?
