I understand that in theory, but depending on the size of the TV and how close you are to it...but of course 1080p is better, I am just saying I am not at the level where I can say "Uggh...720p looks like crap".

I agree, but it's crazy that they're releasing videos and demos on games in 1080p, but the official release is a disappointing 720.

Like Little Big Planet for example...

Sony released a PS3 update well over a year ago so developers can choose to support 1080, but many games, like this one unfortunately, choose not to.

I agree with that. It is a bit like having better SFX in the trailer than in the movie.

Is it possible 1080 games won't fit on one disc?

I don't think it's a matter of the game being 1080p v. 720p v. 480p because it would be more of the programming of the game to output resolutions at that size. So all in all the console or PC ends up doing all the work of rendering the image at whatever resolution is selected, and not taking up space on the disc.

Nope, for PC's they range from 768p-1600p (1024x768 - 2560x1600)
and for consoles they range from 480p-1080p (640x480 - 1920x1080)
It really depends on the input of your monitor/TV considering that most game consoles (except wii) will output HD and 480p is standard definition. lol

Tekken 5 blast factor a lot of sports games. They are all in 1080p on ps3. Also those screen shots on the link put up by burkhartdesu really did show a lot of difference in pics espesially shots 6 and 10.

PS3 outputs at 1080p and my TV is 1080p, but Tekken 6 says it is 720p right on the box.

Is the DL version of Tekken: Dark [something] on PS3 720p or 1080p.

All other Tekken games were on PS1 or PS2, so they are SD.
