You're actually working on a Telecaster Styled Strat? Most people just play them for a while and throw them out. Kudos to you my friend.
What other modifications are you planning on doing to it?
I would suggest changing the tuning pegs.

i want to make it custom, and give it a violin shaped body

But, I don't know how that will work, you will have to remove that big bridge the violins have in the middle of their body and the head stock must different from the violin's. Your must likely to get a semi-acoustic guitar then that of a violin, but this is merely theoretical, you may be able to pull it off somehow.

I have a squier telecaster for playing slide on which I bought because my good guitars have trems on them and wont go to open tunings. There not bad for the money. Tell me how it goes with the pickups when they're done.

it's not a tele styled strat it's just a tele,they're my favorite type of guitar i love the shape and sound of them
i'm putting a humbucker pickup on the bridge to give it more depth and sustain (the regular squier one chokes really bad) and am eventually gonna fit it with a korg kaoss pad like matt bellamy from muse has on his guitars
i'm also toying with the idea of LED lights!

it's a gutsy idea to try and build one of those but i'm all for it! they look and sound stunning when they are built well,paul mcnartney from they beatles love them
