Custom Guitar Project - 03-02-2009, 08:16 PM

here are some pics of a guitar i've been doing custom work on over the past week

this is the guitar before i did any work on it


after sanding off the original finish


rear panel primered ready for paint


rear panel finished in chrome silver

more pics to come as i get more work done!

Progress report:
i've now sanded the front panel down to be painted which i'll hopefully do today
also i have ordered a black bridgeplate and control panel,a Seymor Duncan Hotrail bridge pickup and Vintage neck pickup
hopefully will be finished by the end of next week!

i bought it used from a friend for £30 (around $50)
it was a bargain! but there was a lot wrong with it

oh well i bought an accoustic guitar last week it has some problems but it was only $40 bucks so it was a good price.

it plays okay except on one part, the strings need replacing.

but its good for a learners guitar, right?
