I think you mean that girls are often too busy chasing after men that will break their hearts, wanting what they can't have and wouldn't want if they got it, like your love interest. Then again guys do the same thing

Just let him go. You don't want someone with that kind of attitude as a boyfriend or more. I don't know what you see in him, but to me, it looks like he's not the type of guy you'd want to fall in love with. He has sex with girls that he barely knows? That's a big no no.
