i think they predict the end on that day cuz the calendar ends there, but i think the guy who was chiseling away got tired of chiseling.....or... was sacrificed hahahaha

All of this reminds me of 1999 events when some of my friends said the same thing that all of this is bullsh*t. But when several months left before beginning of year 2000 they slowly started believing in that, because of the crap the TV started showing.

Except 2000 and all the y2k fuss, I don't remember anything about other years that supposed to date the time of the apocalypse, but judging from the predictions 2012 beats them all. Starting from the mayan calendar, the predictions of Nostradamus and others, then there's the prediction about Earth's magnetic pole shift which will occur in 2012, and other.

Just PRETEND that tomorrow you'll see on the news showing the undeniable proof that judgement day will occur in 2012 bringing the end of humanity.
So what will you do when it's gonna happen, hide? This is where my answer to the OP's question comes out.
I see no point in believing or denying it, if it happens then the only thing left is to take it as it comes.
