I know alot of you don't believe it, but do you believe in the 2012 prophecies? That alot of us will die in 2012? Or we all will. I'm kinda believing it, kinda not.

Not sure if this counts as religious talk...:p

People also said a lot of people were going to die when it became 2000. Yeah, people may have died but probaly not as many as everyone predictied. I don't believe in any of that stuff. *looks around, knocking on wood* Hey, I've jinxed myself before I don't want to do it again.

I've heard that thanks to that belief, the world will become more religious.

My eldest son mentioned something about that.......I told him son you were born the year they said the world was going to explode.....so are u dead? he looked at me very serious and after a few moments he laughed....


They said that in 1995 the world waz going to end in a big bang....

They said that in 2000 the net world was going to crash.....

has it happened? I don't think so....

I heard that in the future a humongous meteor will collide with us and die out our species like the dinosaurs.....

Many theories and yet not one has happened. Besides....If it does happen our lives have to end at one point or another right?

I don't want it to be painful....

They also said in 2006 we will die! I was scared...

i try not to worrier about it if it happen it happen can't live in fear

And people in my church are talking about 'near future' prophecies but lets not get into religon.

They're only doing it to make people panic in fear. Otherwise you would've heard it from reliable sources like us. ^_^ your the second person I've heard talk about it.....so I guess it's not really that big of a deal...

I do not believe the world will end. As humans, we tend to predict and expect the worse to happen.

This is BS. They said the same thing about the year 2000 and I don't see a dead world.

It is not like they say.Like Kireikoori said the world will merely change too much.And not like Ramones1976 think it won't change for better.It will chnage to even worse than it already is.

Perphaps there is truth to the revelations concerning the year 2012. The world is getting worse and worse everyday. This includes death tolls, natural disasters, wars, and rumor of wars. We also can't forget that the morality/mind set of today's world is definitely slipping. Maybe what the prophecies allude to is not a destroyed world but a destroyed people.
