Literally the word means 'two-day drunkunness'.

These are casual, relatively-cheap places for drinking and eating in Japan.

禁酒　きんしゅ (Kinshu) >> No Drinking

禁煙　きんえん (Kin'en) >> No Smoking

酒豪　（しゅごう） = A Very Heavy Drinker

The second kanji 豪 means a great or giant.

Partial question follows with this one, about the 電 character.
I recognize the top half as 雨, but I can't for the life of me figure out the original bottom half.

That bottom half is not used by itself so I've never even given much thought to it. And my kanji dictionary didn't list it as a kanji, either. We may need a big dictionary here.

Isn't it a radical?

I've just started to study kanji and I'm looking for anything to help me out... :D
