This is a favorite...and is also the kanji that sumo "draw" with their hands after winning a match before accepting the prize envelope.

I would tell about my favorite Kanji but this computer doesn't have it.

Logical, isn't it? The second one is also the family name for YOSHIKI of X-JAPAN...in case you're a fan.

ah, yes. These are some of the first I learned. I also knew that about Yoshiki.

I think it's a beautiful last name.

I can't put any kind of symbols here, unfortunately, or I'd participate.

- (juku) cram school. Most Japanese teens that I know goto Juku.

留学 - (ryuugaku) studying abroad, one of the funnest things you can do when you're young like me. :)

If I were to take a wild guess from your name, one of your favorites would be:

 (みやび) Miyabi = elegance :)

Another funny one

(kamu) - to chew

It's compounded from (kuchi - a mouth) and (ha - a tooth). Also the verb itself is easy to remember, because 'gamu wo kamu' (ガムを噛む) is to chew a chewing gum :)
