I know she use to do those intense japanese videos she was very ermmm
plain looking back then
since becoming a model shes alot prettier

Let's just say, I was a member of a website where she used to spam her vids, and we took... strong action against her. It wasn't the most otaku friendly community ;)

Her story is an interesting one, but to keep it short, she made herself famous by faking that she could speak Japanese, got syphilis from her ~Japanese~ boyfriend, blamed her problems and Japanophilia on a fake internet disease (aspberger's), and was eventually scouted by a talent agency once they noticed that her legs opened for Japanese men faster than... something that opens really fast :D Watching the drama unfold over the last year or two has been satisfying, to say the least.

And she was actually prettier before

The life of a Gravure model is not a glamorous one.

Everyone has different dreams one of mines is to be a gravure model
not that I won't go to college because im going to school for nursing
but I would like to be a gravure model untill i'm too old to be one
it seems fun I just think all the attention is so nice :)

/derail'd, sorry!

It's weird back in her old videos I thought she was alot smarter
and not just a typical japanophile but recently I realized thats all she is =/

You sound like a nice girl, but that's not the kind of attention you want. You won't be Marilyn Monroe. You'll be an object, a forgotten face on some stuck together pages. I think you'd regret it.

That, to me, doesn't seem like the most well thought-out reason to enter such a specialized form of "modeling"...

Marilyn Monroe's life wasn't nearly as glamorous as people like to think either.

I don't know too much, but being killed by the CIA can't be fun. At least she was respected

Respected, adored, universally loved and very sad and lonely.

If you think about it its really not that bad its not like porn or anything
its just it would be nice to flaunt it while ihave it
it would be cool
to have
all those photobooks and dvds
from when I was younger
and when I'm old and saggy and my body is streched from having babies
I can look back and say
"o look how skinny or pretty I was back then"
its just something to experince its nothing i plan on doing forever

Koir 12-14-2008 06:14 AM

Women who go into that kind of modeling, or any superficially artistic pursuit in the same vein, don't plan on doing it forever either. But when they find themselves in that world, they find it very hard to leave it.
