Oh God. I wrote this poem for my ex girlfriend and recited it to her on the beach at sunset -_____________________________-


Sometimes I sit and stare, for a few moments In time, I won't have a single care. See this worlds sometimes overwhelming for me, so I need a few minutes just to stop and breathe. The grounds covered in dust and the skies filled with haze, I'd do anything to escape this phase. My days so rough until I see your face, when i'm with you, you take me to a better place.
You brighten up my life, you send the clouds away, you cast all my negative thoughts astray. Your creamy soft skin and your bright shining eyes, all add up to perfection, you're the sun in my sky. And like the Earth beneath my feet, you're the one that makes my heart skip a beat. I keep you in my thoughts, I keep you in my dreams, my love comes raining down like shattered tears and flowing streams.
The sense of passion drips from your lips, it fills my entire body, right down to my fingertips. You light up my life like a glistening candle in the night, you make me feel right, I'm truly happy I'm with you tonight. I love you so much, words can't even explain it, you stole my heart, but I don't ever want to reclaim it.

All the promeses you made

And then you wonder why
I don't trust your words....
