Lol the first day I asked a girl out.
We were like flirting all the time and stuff

well months later when I got my first gf.

that same girl asked me out, and I rejected her saying the same thing.

oooh. i got one. but it aint that bad. just kinda funny i guess.
been asking out a nice girl i know for over 2 years! and she always says no.
because she doesn't know me enough she says. well i kinda kept it going asking her out whenever she would talk to me via textmessaging or msn.
now i've written a song about her with a pal, and we're going to record it in two weeks time.
people dont understand why i dont just let it go, but im not asking her out hoping for a date anymore, just for fun (which seems weird, but i guess you have to be there)

on a different note: i've had several dates and so on in the time i've been asking her out. and i think i've only been rejected by her and one other girl.
not sure i've ever been hurt majorly

Hahahahahaha! man this sounds so very funny even to me but the only rejection that ever ever hurt my feelings (First time a girl has sworn herself against meh) was Suki on this forum . Really cracks me up when I think about it, never been dumped in my life but Suki really tore meh a new one .

My worst was after a three year relationship that was all but living together.

He dropped me off at my new apartment one evening and after all day working together at a Ren Fair and I asked him to move in. He declined and then told me were also breaking up. He "couldn't take it any more" because I had "changed so much" over the past year. Yeah, I had - in every way he had asked me to change!!!!

I wasn't me anymore and he was right, but it was agony and anger for a while till I realized how much better off I was without him. But even at the worst of it I was glad he declined sharing the apartment first.

Now there are a few unique rejections I have delivered, but that's another matter.

First one I was only a little kid and I rang my friend up to ask them out.
"Oh hi, do you want to go out with me?"
"No"
Then I sat in complete silence for a few moments before hanging up the phone.

Second one wasn't really rejection but every time I got near the one I liked they would start going all weird and rude on me. I thought it was because they hated my guts.

On the last day of High School for that year they run up and yelled, "I've liked you for ages!" then quickly planted a kiss on me and ran off. I spent all holidays impatient to get back to school again. On the first day I talked to their best friend and found out that my crush was gone because the father moved the family for work.

The worst one was when I finally worked up the courage to tell the person I liked about how I felt as we were really close friends, then before I could say anything they asked me if I could help them to score a date with another friend from our circle. I decided against making things awkward for them and helped out instead.
