I doubt I'll be super emotional, I'm not really an emotional person. This trip is close to me because most of the money I'm using for the trip is from a relative that passed away so obviously it's a meaningful trip for me, and I wanted to do something memorable.

I am certainly VERY excited though - wooooooooooooooo -

Life would be boring if you didn't get excited about things!
I was wondering when you two were headed that way.... I am really happy for you!

What is it that you want people to be serious on here ALL THE TIME?

I fear for you if someone told you to shoot them in the face.

Wow, I honestly though I read somewhere on here that you'd been before! :L
My bad. And best wishes! Be sure to let us all know how it goes, as I'm sure you will.

Last April was my first visit, it was my first time to fly aswell, I was buzzed, excited, whatever you call it...... until looked out the plane window and saw flat ground and dead grass, what! where are the mountains?, the Japanese guy next to me started laughing then explained to me that the mountains are further inland from Narita.

Here at the end of May I'm visiting again, execpt this time I can speak some Japanese and read Kana, plus a little bit of Kanji.

Exactly! I knew you were that kind of person! If someone told you to shoot them in the face, you would.

Of course I'm not a mind reader! Most people have a bit of,you know,a sense of humour. They kind of know when people are joking?

oh how silly you are. And different generations may not realise when someone is joking-- especially when in print.

I do actually have a sense of humour-- it depends what sort of humour.
