There are two questions I'd like to ask today.

自機は、Ｄボタンを押す事で機体の瞬発力を活かした様 々な行動を取れるようになっていきます。その場合に必 要となるのが『ブースター』と呼ばれるものです。
1. Does 活かす mean "to make use of sth" here?
2. 行動を取る means "to perform an action", correct?

I have a message i am getting on a game that i imported from Japan on my psp system and i have no idea what its saying but it wont let me go past this point that i am at once i see this message. I was hoping someone could help translate what this is saying....

Yeah. To make something appear or to activate something.
